for an overseas adoption, within 28 days of entry, give her/his employer
further evidence of the child's entry into Great Britain. This could be
aeroplane tickets or copies of entry clearance documents.
An employee may be entitled to paid statutory adoption leave (SAL) from
her/his employer.
are matched for adoption with a child on or after 6 April 2003;
are the adopters of a child who enters Great Britain for adoption on or
after 6 April 2003;
have a child placed for adoption with them on or after 6 April 2003;
satisfy the employment requirements and earnings conditions.
