St John’s has been
running a Junior (Tea-Time) Church once a month since March 2010. It is
based loosely on the “Messy Church” concept and includes singing,
stories, craft activities and worship on a different theme each month.
It is designed for children at primary school; younger siblings are
welcome too with their parents.
When is it? The first Thursday of the month during school term-time. We start at 3.30pm and end at about 5.45pm. What does it include? The format is the same each month: Welcome (including refreshments), story and introduction of the theme Singing Creative / craft activities Family Worship Tea How do I join? Simply turn up on the first Thursday of the month! We charge just £1 per child to help with the running costs.
