St John’s is dependent upon the many volunteers who help around the church. Would you like to help or get more involved in a particular aspect of St Johns? Please consider joining one of the Teams..

The Church Hall is adjacent to the church in Sylvan Road and has a small stage and kitchen facilities.

There are a number of regular bookings, but the Church hall can be hired at other times using the contact details on the Home page or email church@stjohn-uppernorwood.org.uk

 
St John's has a conventional font and an immersion font.  The latter had not been functional for many decades, but has now been refurbished and was used for baptisms again from October 2005.

St John’s is one of the “Churches Together in Upper Norwood” in which we meet together with churches of other denominations.

 

We support Christian Aid, the Children’s Society, USPG and a range of other missions and charities through monthly retiring collections and other activities.

 

A monthly Parish Paper is published. Contributions to the editor.

 

The church AGM is held during April each year.
