Went out for a walk, found a bar
for a quick one to formulate a plan and ended up there for 2 hours ! |

Old farts went on 'a tour' and
some window shopping ! |

Continued all night and into the
early hours. It's quiet on a Wednesday night !! |

Decided to bat and we played
crap. got something like 147 AO |

They got them on 22 overs |

They play a different type of
game to us. All wickets are on either football or hockey pitches which
means they cannot have short outfields, which means they play by getting 4's
and 6's |

Finished at 6 and started
drinking. As 2 teams, we drank 24 crates of Heineken with 24 bottles in
each. (25 euros a crate) it looked like a bomb site |

Did fines and formalities such
as caps and man of the match |

Did a stump race which was
hilarious |

Pondy and Willis drank 3 bottles
of red wine in 40 minutes. Pondy was a mess. |

They provided a Surinam takeaway
which was some of the hottest food we had ever eaten |

Played games and sang songs
which they thought was brilliant. |

Left the club at 23:20 to get
the 23:45 train back to Amsterdam, having paid our bar bill of 420 euros
(£300) |

Had to take Pondy off the tram
as he was going to Vom ! |
|
The youngsters went out and the
senior pros went for a walk ! |

overs. Guy got a very good 75. Absolutely knackered |

Saturday 16th July 2005
| Mike, Ed, George, Jon, Ben look like crap in the morning again |
| Left hotel at 10:30 to go to Haarlem by tram and train. |
| Played 35 over match on a hession matting wicket |
| Very small pitch for us which was OK, although the club had 3 tracks.

| We bowled and kept them to 180 in 35 overs |
| We batted and got them in 27 overs |
| Bobby (40), Milo (75) and Tomsey (44 NO) batted really well |
| Guy had to come home at 17:00 for work |
| Had a few beers but they all buggered off. No fines just presentations
|
| Left about 20:00 and went back to Amsterdam |
| As a group of 15 went out for beers and snacks and had a laugh |
| Me, Milo, George, Ed, Jon, Ben, AJ went on drinking |
| Got to bed about 06:15 and up again at 10:00 ! |
| Everyone looked crap |
| People straggled down stairs and we went for a group lunch at about
12:00

| Had pizzas etc and Rose wine !

| Went back to the hotel and got tram/train to the airport at 14:00
|
| Flew home
|
| Slept ! |
