The 2006 Annual Reunion. 43 people attended this year’s very successful reunion in the Ballroom at Lockleys. Blessed again with a sunny and warm afternoon, there was an interesting selection of photographs and memorabilia on display, including several from the 1940s. The latter included one of the whole school and staff in c.1941 – from the late Enid Hulatt; others from the mid-1950s including the 1st XI Cricket team in 1956 (sent via e-mail by Tony Nicholson, but sent to him by Mary Teunon (Ablett)); and an album with photographs of the two school trips to Austria and Paris, lead by the late Jim Wilkins.
The excellent buffet was again provided by the school’s caterers, and was greatly appreciated. Thanks were expressed both to them and to the School for once again allowing use of Lockleys for the event.
