Terms and Conditions for Tutoring

1. After the initial 45 min free session, fees are payable in advance in cash, by cheque, or bank transfer, to cover one half-term of tutorials.
2. Tutorials cancelled with fewer than 48 hours notice will be billed to the client at a rate of 1 hour of instruction.
3. I cannot provide tuition services to students who are ill, so please cancel the tutorial, providing as much notice as possible. I will make every effort to re-schedule the tutorial with no financial penalty.
4. I reserve the right to cancel classes. Should I be unable to provide tuition, then it will be rearranged at a mutually agreed date and time. If this is not possible, fees will be refunded for that particular tutorial.
5. If students are to get the most benefit from my tuition then they will attempt all of the directed reading and homework problems I set them each week.
6. Although I work within the school curriculum, I do not do homework or assignment questions that are meant to be the student's own work.
7. I strive to provide the best possible service. However, I will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student. Although I will do everything in my power to help grades and skill sets improve, I can offer no guarantee thereto.
8. I am not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of my tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of my materials. You the client specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.
9. All materials I create in-house are copyright. You agree that you will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written permission from me.
10. Tutorials will take place at the place and between the times agreed, and it is the student’s responsibility to be punctual.
