In 1871 he was living in Henry Street, Tunstall. In 1881 he was living at 2 Windmill Street, Wolstanton. He was married to Alice Ann Richardson k45 in Congleton in 1886 (4th. quarter folio 8a page 427). In 1891 (#) he was living at 2 Veronica Terrace, Wesley Street, Levenshulme, Lancashire. In 1901 he was at 6 Pologen Avenue, Levenshulme, Lancashire. He had two sons. He was a science lecturer at Technical School.

k45 Alice Ann Rhead (neé Richardson) [2gA;3gA;4gA] was born in 1867 (1867 quarter 2, Altrincham, folio 8a page 172) in Altrincham. She was daughter of Thomas and Sarah Richardson. In 1871 (#) she was living in Green Bank, Church Lawton, Cheshire. In 1881 (#) she was living at Canal Yard Lawton. She was married to k44 Ezra Lobb Rhead in Congleton in 1886 (4th. quarter folio 8a page 427). In 1891 (#) she was living at 2 Veronica Terrace, Wesley Street, Levenshulme, Lancashire. In 1901 she was at 6 Pologen Avenue, Levenshulme, Lancashire. She had two sons.
