The T(h)ormodsen family are from Stavanger, Norway. Mandia T(h)ormodsen, met and married, Christian Olsen who was a shipping agent and moved to London, England, where I believe all her children were born. Eventually, all Mandia's children emigrated to Australia. Mandia' s two brothers, Sivert Martiniús T(h)ormodsen and Tollak T(h)ormodsen, emigrated to the USA about 1910.
