Members please note: it will help the host to estimate numbers if you can contact them or Glyn Jones to say you are going to their meeting.
A £1 charge per person will be levied to defray host's costs. Also a Raffle and Bring & Buy stall will be held at each meeting.

at 2 pm 		Invitation by Mr. & Mrs. A. Rigby. 'Beeswax and candlemaking' - A talk by Mr. Brian Goodwin, president of Shropshire B.K.A. Further details contact Glyn Jones.
Saturday, April 26th
at 3 pm 		Invitation of Mr. & Mrs. S. Humphreys, Nant y Wiber, Croesaubach, Oswestry. Demonstration and talk by Mr. Brian Goodwin, President of Shropshire B.K.A.
Saturday, May 10th
at 3 pm 		Invitation of Mr. & Mrs. P. Morgan, Reservoir House, Llanforda. Demonstration and talk by Mr. G. Critchley, M.A.F.F. Bee Inspector.
Saturday, June 7th
at 3 pm 		Invitation by Mr. & Mrs. A. Rigby, Honeysuckle Cottage, Haughton, West Felton. Demonstration and talk by Mr. D. Sutton, M.A.F.F. Bee Inspector.
Saturday, June 21st
at 3 pm 		Invitation to the apiary of the Secretary, where he will demonstrate his management of bees, followed by a strawberry tea. Confirm with the Secretary if attending.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is now from January 1st to December 31st.

It is in the interest of each member to pay subscriptions early, as only fully paid-up members can qualify for any Association benefits

PUBLIC LIABILITY

Members are now insured against Third Party claims.

Members are now insured for two hives, with B.D.I. against Foul Brood Disease. Extra hives can be insured through the treasurer.

Some contributions may be made towards payment of Examination fees for the approved B.B.K.A. examinations.

All are welcome, in particular anyone who wishes to learn more about the honey bee, whether they keep bees or not. Come along and see what it's all about! Protective gear can be provided.
