OUR SPECIALISED WITHDRAWAL PROGRAMME :

Latest Information about Over-Count's Withdrawal Programmes :

Over-Count can provide you with your own specialised Withdrawal Programme, comprising of

3 separate Stages, which have been especially designed for the Client who has become Dependent

on any Over-the-Counter Drug or Medicine.

This Programme is not available elsewhere, and to date, Clients undergoing it, have shown a 83%

"Success Rate", [ Success being based on Clients remaining Drug-free at least 13 weeks following

completion of  Stage [3] of the Programme], and this compares favourably with a published "Success

Rate" of just 23%, for Clients undergoing the standardised Methadone Withdrawal Programme,

supplied at nearly all N.H.S. Regional Drug Abuse Treatment Clinics.

These figures really mean that 8 out of 10 Over-Count Clients do "Succeed" with OUR  Programme,

whereas 8 out of 10 N.H.S Methadone Programme Clients, regretably "Fail".

This is mainly because OUR Programme caters for the needs of the individual Client, and is ind-

ividualy designed for each Client, with their individual histories, etc, taken into account, and of

course, the personal element of Over-Count's Support and other Services, helps immensely.

Our Withdrawal Programme is available on request, Free of Charge, to anyone who requests it.

OVER-COUNT'S WITHDRAWAL PROGRAMME CONSISTS OF :-

STAGES [1] and [2].    These are the basic foundation Stages of the Programme, the same for every

Client, and are designed to help the Client gain "self-realisation" and insight

into 1] The actual extent of his/her Addiction.  2] Times of the day/week when

he/she is more "at-risk" from taking Drugs than other times.  3] Times when                                               he/she get more "benefits" from their Drug taking than other times, and times when                             they receive very little "benefits" at all.  4]  The true "benefits" and "good things"

they obtain from their Drugs, and conversely, the true "bad things" and "adverse

effects" which they suffer as a result of their Drug taking.

Both these Stages are completed together, and take just over 2 weeks to do.

Although fairly simplistic, the importance of doing both Stages, cannot be under-estimated. After completion, the Client can request to pass onto the main Stage [3].                                 but he/she has first to fill in a simple Form, providing us with further details, in

order to compile the personalised Withdrawal Stage [3] Programme.

STAGE [3].                This is the main Withdrawal Programme, designed and printed out for each ind-

ividual Client, based on their personal history of OTC Drug misuse. No 2 Program-

mes are the same, and each Programme takes an average of 75 minutes to produce. The duration of Stage [3] Withdrawal period, is based on a well tested Equation-

"The length of the period of misuse by the Client in Years, = The roughly equivel-

ent number of MONTHS, the Withdrawal period should last over".

Thus, a Client with a 6 year history of misusing Codeine based Product, should look

at an approx. period of around 22-25 Weeks, for Withdrawing from it over.

This Stage has a built-in "Rewards Scheme", for succesful adherence to the stated

Withdrawal Regime, also personal support and advice via Telephone, is provided

usually during the initial 4-5 week commencement of the Programme.

Many Clients have successfully completed the Programme and become Drug-Free,

who have histories of many years of Addiction, to large amounts of Medicines, and

who have tried several times previously to Withdraw using conventional means.
