My name is Jackie Jones, and I live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK.

I have 3 young children, which really helps in kitten development, they become virtually bombproof :)

I registered my prefix Padicatz in 1987. I used to show in the 'household pets' section with my rescue persian Paddington (hence padi catz!!)

Paddington ( show name - Sir Paddington Pusscat) was a huge blue boy, found wandering, entire, in Sheffield city centre. I adopted him from our local cat shelter, and with alot of patience and grooming decided to take him to the Yorkshire show.

We won an x3rd and 2 fourths - I was ecstatic! I was hooked from then onwards. Paddy had to retire some years later, after deciding he liked the 'taste' of judge!!

We had a great time, and some success over the years, but it was more about having fun than winning, and I still feel that way today.

I met alot of friends along the way, some still showing today, others retired from the show scene but still friends nevertheless.

I bought my first 'proper' persian in 1988 and it all snowballed from there.

Now I have entered the exciting world of exotics along with my 'fluffies' breeding tabbies and chocolate series cats too :)

I also design websites, under the name of Persian Power.
