Pandas on Tour .... Washington D.C.

When the Punchies arrived, the Soft Ball game had already started and things were not going well for the WWF team. The opposition were revelling in their lead.

The Punchies were called for and given pride of place ... the rest of us had to sit behind them!!

WWF team members came and patted the pandas for luck; the opposition whooped and shrieked "Good Eye" to themselves, in their matching T-shirts and all-too-early jubilation.

As the match drew to a close, it needed one man to hit and run a full Rounder (..sorry, that's an English thing. In England, Soft Ball is called Rounders ... and, er ... played by girls at school .... it had to be said!!)

Anyway, Lee came to the spot and, watched by the Punchyies, whacked the ball mightily in the direction of the Washington Memorial and ran the full circuit. A home run. Very exciting.
