The nearest shop is a mini-market, which is a 2-minute walk from the villa. It has a good choice of basic provisions, including alcohol, and is similar to a Spar shop in the UK. There are also several larger supermarkets within easy reach of Paradise Gardens.
The tourist area of Kato Paphos is walking distance from the villa and has plenty of shops including souvenir shops, jewellers, pharmacies, opticians and a Debenhams department store.
Paphos Old Town is a short bus ride away and has many large department stores including Marks and Spencer and Next as well as smaller independent shops. It is also home to the covered market, where you can buy leather goods, curtains, tablecloths, ceramics, copperware, silverware, and the famous traditional hand-made Lefkaritika lace as well as fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish.
Wednesday and Saturday are half day closing although many shops in the tourist area stay open 7 days a week.
