- UK Fuel Storage Depots
UK Fuel Storage Depots. When establishing the locations of Refineries, in England and Wales, I was struck by the number of tank farms, separate from the refineries themselves,to be found in the VFRGM area. These are generally in coastal, or estuarine loctions, though some are inland. These installations have now been put together as a scenery package. Two petrochemicals installations, omitted from the Refineries package, have been included. The method used for the production of this scenery results in its being compatible only with FS9. - Satanic Mills
Satanic Mills. Whilst putting together the two UK ANO sceneries, attention was attracted by a number chimneys, with heights too low to be listed as Air Navigation Obstacles. They were located at Brickworks and at the remaining Cotton and Wool Mills, still surviving, in the North of England. In real life they can be readilly seen, from the air, and SO tend to enhance the realism of the landscape. All objects constructed with Gmax. This scenery is compatible both with FS9 and FS2002. Ideal for use with the VFR GM photo scenery. The scenery also includes a couple of Petrochemicals complexes, not included in the UK Refineries project. Project by Gerry Winskill. Available from www.avsim.com
