Have you tried formatting a large document with a lot of similar formatting? If so, you may have used the Format Painter, but there’s a quicker way:
Ensure the document is fully typed before applying any formatting.
Now highlight the first part to be formatted and apply formatting using the Format Font command NOT the shortcuts or toolbars.
Now highlight the next piece of text that will have the same formatting and press the F4 key. That’s it done!
F4 simply repeats the last command. This is why you need to use the menu, as using shortcuts to apple several formats is seen as multiple commands and only repeats the last one applied.
