WELCOME TO TRELAWNE COTTAGE GARDENS

RESIDENTIAL PARK

The park consists of just fourteen homes and one first floor apartment all situated in what was originally part of the walled gardens to Trelawne Manor.  The homes are set out informally amongst small trees and shrubs and enjoy a secluded position with high stone walls, hedges or trees on all boundaries.  Trelawne is approximately two and a half miles from both Looe and Polperro and one and a half miles from the picturesque coastline of South East Cornwall.

It is difficult to describe the peace and quiet of the area or to give you a feel of the park with words and pictures.  However a visit to the park and this area, if you are not already familiar with it, would be well worth the time.  Details of homes for sale or rent or, occasionally, vacant plots which can accommodate a new home, are listed on the homes for sale page.

Most of the residents are people who have retired here, having been attracted to the peace and quiet of the park and the beauty of the surrounding area.  Although in the country, we are not isolated.  There are trains from Looe and a regular bus service to Looe, Polperro, Liskeard and Plymouth.  All day to day needs can be obtained in the village of Pelynt or delivered by the local grocer who calls daily.  The mobile library calls locally, once a fortnight.

As a retirement/semi retirement park we would be unable to accept children as residents.  Pets are not normally accepted but existing pets may be considered.

Directions

From Looe - Take the A387 towards Polperro for approximately two miles.  Turn right onto the B3359 signposted Pelynt.  After just 300 meters take the first right signposted Duloe and Sowdens Bridge.  After 100 meters take the third right into Trelawne Cottage Gardens.
