E-Election Address from Paul ROGAN

363 Stainland Rd, Stainland village,

HX4 9HF.

April 2010.

Dear Calder Valley Electors,

I hope you will support my campaign and vote for me and the English Democrats Party on May 6th.

We are a small and relatively new Political Party, and are seen as the English equivalent of the SNP in Scotland and Plaid Cymru in Wales. We are part of a Democratic Alliance of smaller parties along with the Christian Party and The Jury Team fielding 271 Parliamentary candidates. From little acorns great oaks do grow and we intend to be part of that great change which England, the power-house of Britain, desperately needs. Sadly there are few great oaks left in England, but here are my thoughts on how they can grow again.

The 4 ‘R’s

Britain and the proud nation of England are faced with a number of massive problems; there is no simple solution but, as in education, the ‘R’s are basics which must always remain central.

Re-establish Industry and Agriculture

More jobs create greater self-reliance and self-esteem

Rationalise Government and Governance

Not to wildly ‘axe’ like the Tories; this should be a gradual and determined streamlining process.

Reform our higgledy-piggledy (and abused) systems of democracy.

Referenda should decide these reforms …

Referendum on elected local Leaders including all Heads of police, education and health

plus senior Judges.

Referendum on converting the House of Commons into an English Parliament which makes laws

for England and a House of Peers as a fully elected second chamber for all UK Nations. (This chamber may include Peers sent to represent places like Gibraltar and Falklands should those peoples want it.)

Retain our nation’s integrity.

Tackle immigration with sound entry controls. Border Police, Customs and intelligence services should be a combined crown force with delegated powers.

Return people who are here illegally to their home countries.

Leave the EU (after a referendum). I would like to see England in the Heart of Europe, like Switzerland and not like Luxemburg.

Establish new treaties and better bonds with the Commonwealth,

especially Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Respect all our citizens’ needs including the English, and especially the vulnerable; children, older people and pregnant women.

Foster a feeling of pride in our Country, our countryside, our culture, our fairness, our flag.

Personal information about me is at www.paulrogan.info. Details of the English Democrats and our manifesto are at www.englishdemocrats.org.uk and our local website is www.eng-dems.org.uk. Please let me know if you need more information about me or ‘England’s National Party’.

A vote for Paul Rogan and The English Democrats is a vote to be part of The New Politics for England.
