After the Sixth Form Nick Sparks emigrated to the U.S.A. and worked as a lorry driver, spending several years delivering these boats to customers all over the country. He is now living in Bradenton Florida and has been there for the last 10 years, enjoying the Gulf of Mexico beaches just south of Tampa.
