An Online Community Newsletter published by the Pencoed Town Council

All money dealt with by the Town Council is Public Money, which must be fully accounted for. Each Year, the accounts are prepared by the Town Clerk and approved, at a Council meeting, by the Council. The Council has its books audited by an internal auditor, who is appointed by the Council, and an external auditor, who is appointed by the audit commission. At the end of the year, the audited accounts are open to inspection.
