Pencoed College
Pencoed College is a further education college for Agriculture, Horticulture and Environmental Studies. It's main building is the old Tregroes House and has been an agriculture college since the 1920's when the site was bought by the old Glamorgan County Council. The college is now part of Bridgend College.

Pencoed Junior School was built in 1931 as the Pencoed Secondary Modern School. Education from 7years to 11years. The school population is about 260. Catchment area is as Pencoed Infant School with which it shares its campus. The headteacher is Mr Rob Lewis.

Pencoed Infant School was built in 1909 (orginally housed both the Pencoed Infant and Junior Schools). Education from 4years to 7years. A Nursery class was added in the spring of 2002. Pencoed Comprehensive School
Pencoed Comprehensive School was built in 1973. Education from 11years (year 7) to 18years (upper 6th Form). The school population is about 1,200 with some 80 teaching staff.
