Bryn Seion Chapel

Bryn Seion Congregational Chapel, Coychurch Road. The first services were held by the eighteen founders in the nearby King's Head Hotel in February 1897. The foundation stones of the present chapel were laid in 1897 and the work completed in 1898 at a cost of £462-2s-6d..
The Roman Catholic Church
At present there is no church building in Pencoed, but Mass is held on Sunday mornings at Bryn Seion Chapel, Coychurch Road.

Penuel Chapel

Penuel Baptist Chapel, Penprysg Road. The original worshippers met in Box Cottage, which was situated at the rear of the present day chapel car park. Open-air baptisms were prctised nearby. The present chapel was erected in 1862 and has been extended and renovated at various times.

Salem Chapel

Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church, Coychurch Road. The original chapel was erected in 1774. A new, larger building was erected in 1830. The present building dates from 1886.

St. David’s Church

One of three churches within the parish of Llanilid with Pencoed and Heol-y-Cyw, the others being St Illyd's at Llanilid and St. Paul's at Heol-y-Cyw. The present church was originally build as a school in the latter part of the 19th Century and became a church early in the 20th Century. The present Rector is Reverend Nicholas P. Jones.

Gospel Hall

Until quite recently services were held at the Gospel Hall (now demolished), Penybont Road. Followers presently meet at St David's Church Hall, Wimborne Road.
