Sports Fields and Facilities
Felindre Road Sports Complex
The main sports facilities in Pencoed are at the Felindre Road Sports and Recreation Complex. The facilities consist of the sports fields with one rugby pitch and one soccer pitch in the winter and a cricket oval in the summer. There is a tennis court, the local swimming pool with gymnasium, and a bowling green. The complex has two pavilions, one for the main fields and one for the bowling green. The main pavilion has one room that can be hired out for use by sporting organisations or others. It also contains the Town Council’s Chamber. There is also a modern well equiped play area for the younger children. The Complex is adjacent to the sports facilities at the Pencoed Comprehensive School and to the local Rugby Club.
