The Pencoed Rugby Club is situated on Felindre Road adjacent to the Felindre Road Sports Fields. It was at one time a private house called "The Verlands". The club caters for players of all ages from adult, through youth and junior to mini teams.
The club has its own website run by Wil Jones.
In 1980 the Mini & Junior section was formed, bringing us up to the present day where we now run age groups from under 7’s right through to under 16’s. Pencoed has one of the best records for feeding the welsh team with the likes of Wayne Hall, Scott Gibbs, Gareth Thomas, Gareth Cooper and Gavin Henson all coming from Pencoed RFC
