Eastbourne Skate Scene

The most popular place for recreational skaters in Eastbourne is the 'Turning Circle', just east of the Sovereign Centre on Prince Williams Parade. The busiest time is in the Summer, but skaters can be found here all year round.

The Turning Circle

From the Turning Circle, you can skate west the entire length of the seafront, which is just over 5km long. About a fifth of the length has a dedicated skate/cycle lane. The best surface can be found at the far end of the seafront, just past the Wish Tower.

Aggressive skaters use the skate park next to the Sovereign Centre. There are also parks at Shinewater and Polegate.

There are indoor skating facilities at Hailsham Lagoon (01323 846755).
