Visitors Pictures & e-mails

Pictures and messages sent to me.

One for the album. Bent pride and broken prop. Oops from Sunday evening
following prop swing and incorrect throttle setting!

Sent to me from visitors to the Rally, but somehow, in saving
the picture, I lost the e-mailed message. (Isn't technology wonderful!!).
Anyway, I do remember it was a motor-faulke.

This is some of the aircraft parked on Friday, the purpose is just to
indicate the amount which was parked.

Visitor's e-mails.
(My comments in blue italics - WSB)

This was the first PFA Rally that I have flown into. I arrived on
Friday morning and stayed for just the day.
Everything seemed to work very well - I used the Grass Strip and was
marshalled to the Northside.
My main reason for emailing is to say a very big thank you to all the
marshallers who did a perfect job. They left visitors in no doubt as to
where to they needed to go and the result was that everything on the
ground was very easy from the visiting pilot's perspective.
I should also thank all others who must have put in huge efforts to
make it work so well.
Judging by the numbers on Friday my calculation comes up with an
average of 100 arrivals per hour on that day between 0900 & 1400 local.
Quite an achievement if I am even close to being correct. Another very
nice touch was the attempt by pilot magazine to photograph all
arrivals. I am very pleased with their picture of my arrival!

Many thanks for an excellent day!
Best Regards,
Gregory Moor & G-MEOW (Streak Shadow).

OK, for the Saturday page (Reply to my request for types shown - WSB)

Top right is a Falco
Middle left looks like a Menestrel
Yes, that is a Pulsar

By the way, I now have all the booking in/out sheets and the logs and will
be putting it all together over the next few weeks for the rally
supplement! I usually host the lists on our own web-site at
http://www.aardvark-aviation.com and will probably do so again. Last
years list is still there at the moment, and will be archived as soon as
I finish this years.
Once it is up and running maybe you could stick in a link to the log??
(I've added it to the links page - WSB)
Having spent all weekend locked in the north side booking in tent I
didn't get to see as much as I should of the rally but, apart form the
bus service, everything seemed to go fairly well.

Keep up the good work with the photos.
