Hugh was born in 1842 in Ireland

On 25 Oct 1867, when Hugh was 25, he married Elizabeth A. HUNTER, 22, daughter of Robert HUNTER (Tobacconist) and Janet PINKERTON (1817-1902), in Bridgeton, Glasgow. She was born in 1844/5 in Glasgow, Scotland. The marriage, after Banns, took place at 55 Tylefield Street, Glasgow, witnessed by John Gray and Margaret HUNTER.m

  4. Sarah Brown DUNWOODIE. Born at 5.00pm on 5 Apr 1874 at 53 Bluevale Street, High Church, Glasgow.b On 1 may 1899, when Sarah was 24 and residing at 19 Edgeware Street, West Derby, she married Thomas HOLLYWOOD, 27, (Horse Shoer, of 66 Claypole Street, West Derby), son of John HOLLYWOOD (Blacksmith). The marriage took place in West Derby Register Office, witnessed by John W. Wakeham and Elizabeth Dunwoodie.m
    In 1901, Thomas and Sarah resided at 12 Shenstone St, West Derby. Thomas was a General Labourer Thomas was born in 1871/2 in Workington.01

  8. James Hunter DUNWOODIE. Born on 18 Nov 1887 at 28 Garden Street, West Derby.b in 1910 James married Sarah E. POTTER at St Catherine, Edge Hill. Sarah was born in 1889 in Liverpool. James died on 3 May 1941 at Corporation Destructional Yard. He was in the Air Raid Precautions (ARP) Rescue Services. At this time Sarah was residing at 61C Myrtle Gardens.9

Hugh died on 28 Mar 1915 in Liverpool Derby; he was 72.d

3. Jessie Pinkerton DUNWOODIE (1872-1920)

Jessie was born at 1.00pm on 17 Mar 1872 in Glasgow.b

On 8 Apr 1894, when Jessie was 22, she married William PENDER, age 26, son of Andrew PENDER (1838-1922) and Janet LAWSON (1847-before 1891). He was born on 23 Mar 1868 in Whitburn. The marriage, after Banns, took place in St. Mary's Edge Hill, West Derby, Liverpool, witnessed by George Dunwoodie and Mary Jane Edwards.m

  1. Margaret Lawson PENDER. Born on 13 Sep 1900 at 116 Boaler Street, West Derby. She died in 1901, age 0.

On 17 Jan 1900, Hugh married Ada ASPINALL, 25, son of Ralph ASPINALL. The marriage took place in St. Cyprian Church, Edge Hill, Lancashire. She was born 1874/5 in Liverpool.

5. Robert Hunter DUNWOODIE (1878 - )
