William died at 0.30pm on 18 Jul 1906 at West Main Street, Whitburn; she was 93. He died of Senile decay, Indefinite Hypostaic Congestion of Lungs, 19 days. (Informant: William LAWSON, son; James PENDER registrar).^d

3. Janet LAWSON (1843-1887)

Janet was born in 1843 in Whitburn.

On 10 Dec 1867 when Janet was 24, she married Andrew PENDER, 29, son of William PENDER (1792-1879) and Bethia STORRY (1797-1863). The marriage, after Banns, took place in Whitburn witnessed by James and Jane LAWSON.^m He was born on 9 Aug 1838 at Tarrydews, [nr. Fauldhouse].^p
