About Me
At the time of writing I am a studying for my Msc in Internet Technology at
University College Chester. I graduated with a Bachelor of arts degree in
Computer Science and French in November 2004.
I originate from the West Midlands, my home tower being Aldridge, St Mary's.
I am a season ticket holder at Walsall F.C and I travel the country following
their fortunes, or misfortunes - mostly misfortunes.
I ring in and around Chester whilst at University, and at Aldridge and Lichfield
Cathedral whilst at home. I am a resident member of the Liverpool Universities
Association of Change Ringers, Chester Diocesan Guild and Lichfield & Walsall
Archdeaconries Society, as well as being non-resident with the Southwell,
Lancashire, St Martins and Coventry Associations.
This website is a hobby for me, but I will keep it regularly updated. I have
included several pictures of notable towers from around the country. In case you
don't know, they are the following: Lichfield Cathedral, Liverpool Cathedral,
Wells Cathedral, Eccleston [Cheshire] and Sherborne Abbey.
I have met a lot of friends in ringing, young and old, one of whom is Sam
Austin. From time to time, he will send me an 'article' containing his views on
contemporary campanological issues, which you will be able to find in the Sam
Austin section of this site.
