Historical Events & Dates

• 1552 “Fawre bells, ij sakering bells.”
• 1815: 3 and 4 of the present ring added.
• 1898: Rehung in old frame and canons removed (Taylor job book per Chris Pickford)
• 1913: First peal on the bells
• 1933: Rehung in new cast iron frame (Taylor job book per Chris Pickford)
• 1946: Two trebles added. First peal on the eight bells was rung.
