Getting Queens
Peals 1-4 achieve queens at the lead end, whereas peals 5 and 6 achieve queens at the trebles backstroke snap.
However, as you can
see below, there isn't really much difference between these two ways of getting
queens in Bristol - you will always get 1357**** twice in the first and last 8
changes of the lead, and you will also get ****2468 twice in the first and last
8 changes. However, the way the music develops is more subtle if queens occurs
at the back stroke snap of the treble, as you can see below, you get
1357****; then two rows later; queens, then two rows later ****2468.
