Trapping commenced in the summer of 1999 with one trap, a Heath Trap with a 6 watt actinic bulb.
Then in summer 2001 a bigger trap was used in addition. This is a trap based on the Skinner trap
but with an 15 watt actinic bulb and running off the mains unlike the Heath trap was is run from a
car battery. A 125 MV bulb would of course be preferable but maybe the neighbours would not
appreciate it! Both traps were purchased from Anglian Lepidoperist Supplies (at a better price than
