The usual pattern of service
Sunday:
8.15am Said Eucharist - traditional Rite (Book of Common
Prayer) in the Lady Chapel
10.30am Parish Eucharist
– sung by the congregation (to the setting by Dom Gregory
Murray) and Liturgy from the Book of Common Worship with Hymns.
Crêche and
Sunday School in the Vestry Hall. Our youngsters of
all ages are able to explore Christianity in their own space
during the first part of the Mass, and then we all get together
again for Holy Communion.
NEW occasional Sundays,
next service JULY 19th
6.15pm Evensong and Benediction - the traditional sung service with choir
singing the evening canticles, psalms and an anthem, followed by
Benediction.
Monday: There
are no services at St Gabriel’s on Monday.
Tuesday: 6.30pm Mass
and Communion in the Lady chapel
Wednesday: 9.15am School Mass in the School Hall, St.Gabriel’s C of
E school, Churchill Gardens, Pimlico. Attended
by the school, but all parents and others are welcome to attend.
The mass and hymns are geared to the children.
Thursday: 10.00am Mass
and Communion in the Lady chapel
Friday: 10.00am Mass
and Communion in the Lady chapel
4.00pm Prayer Hour
Church open for
prayer and contemplation in quiet surroundings, in the presence
of the Blessed Sacrament. Drop in at any time between 4 and 5 to
join us for as little or as long as you like.
Saturday: 10.00am Mass
and Communion in the Lady chapel
