All audio files (marked
Play) on this web site are in MP3
format. If
your computer is configured to play MP3 files automatically, e.g. with
a media player such as Windows Media Player, QuickTime etc., then the
file should play within a few seconds when you click the link.
If the file plays ok, but uses the same window so you can't continue browsing then right-click the link, then click Open (Link) in New Tab/Window.
If the file does not play (or only plays after several minutes), some of the following information may help if you use Windows Media Player and/or QuickTime. More help may be available on the internet...
Note: Change settings at your own risk. Actual methods shown may be dependent on the version of player and/or operating system. You may need to repeat these settings if later versions are installed (e.g. via the auto-update process).
Windows Media Player
In Tools, Options, File Types, check option 'MP3'.
If it is already
checked, try: Uncheck MP3, click Apply, check MP3, click
OK.
QuickTime
In Preferences, Browser, Mime Settings..., check option 'MP3'
In Preferences, Browser, check option 'Play movies automatically'
In Preferences, Streaming, check option 'Enable Instant On'
As a last resort, download the MP3 files to your computer first:-
...then play the saved files in your media player.
