Emily's 6th birthday party - a joint 'science party' with her friend Phoebe.
Everyone got their own lab coat and goggles to keep.
First there were some scientific demonstrations - here Phoebe's Mummy shows how to make gloop with cornflour:
Then Mummy shows a candle sucking water into a jar:
Then the children were let loose on some hands-on activities. Food colouring on milk:
Finding iron filings in breakfast cereals:

Catherine made a wonderful themed cake

One final demonstration had to be performed outside - mixing cola with mintoes with explosive results.
