Half term:
1st Nov: Visit to York including fish and chips at Petergate, and a tour of the portrait exhibition. These 2 photos were taken by Emily.
Katie made a mosaic at the Yorkshire Museum.
Then we had tea (with the cousins) at Grandma's.
5th: Emily put lots of effort into entering a portrait competition at school, and was very proud of her work...
... especially when she won 2nd prize!
8th: Pulling faces for Emily.
9th: Supporters at the "Fetch Everyone" Yorkshire mile race. Pete came
2nd in the main race, with a time of 5:16.
Katie and Emily enjoyed the children's 400m and 100m races, and we're all very
proud of our medals.
23rd: More running - this time, achieving a landmark sub-90-minute half marathon (1:29:04).
29th: Emily's getting pretty good at climbing now, finding several different ways to the top of the wall (The Climbing Works).
The reward for reaching the top is to slide back down again.
