Bank Holiday weekend. Pete met up with some friends from AZ for a long bike ride from Edale.
A 53km loop from Edale, over Hope Cross to Snake Pass, then over to, and all
the way round, Derwent Reservoir, then back via Yorkshire Bridge.
I'll get a map on here eventually!
The route was challenging in parts (these weren't the worst bits)...
...and downright boggy in others. I think I was the only one who attempted to ride through this:
but then I had to clean the mud out of my chain. (Thanks Richard for the photos)
31st: Day out at Magna. It
seemed a shame to spend a sunny day cooped up in the dark, but the girls had a
great time as ever.
This time we played with rocks in the 'Earth' section.
