Girvan lifeboat and to the right one of many other lifeboats sent to the boatyard in Girvan for maintainance from around Britain. The boatyard is the white building behind the Girvan lifeboat.
Looking across the harbour to-wards Mc Creath park. This was taken during the Mayday holidays and you can see it is filled with tents and caravans to accommodate participants in the folk festival weekend.

The Beach Pavilion. Now closed and about to be demolished and replaced with a new state of the art multipurpose building. (The Ailsa Craig Lighthouse Centre.)
