Cynthia Khan publicity shot Cynthia Kahn
Taiwanese starlet Yeung Ly Tsing (or Lai-Ching Yeung) who became a notable action heroine of the Hong Kong movie scene from mid 1980s to mid 1990s, using stage-name Cynthia Kahn (alias Cynthia Yang). She made an impact with the likes of Yuen Woo-ping's In The Line Of Duty 4: Key Witness (1989), as police officer Yeung, which was used as name of her character in other similar cop action flicks. In 1991, she played Michelle in Queen's High, and Chin in The Avenging Quartet (1992), and since then has starred in other Hong Kong movies including the enjoyable Yes, Madam! (1995), and Angel On Fire (1996).

SPACE Diane Keaton
A change of pace for romantic comedy actress Diane Keaton sees her cast as Charlie - an American actress so keen to get a 'real' role, that she accepts training from Israeli security forces to play a spy assigned to infiltrate a Palestinian terror group. More psychological drama than action movie, George Roy Hill's The Little Drummer Girl (1985) was based on a novel by John Le Carré. Keaton makes the best of a difficult role, and is convincing during her paramilitary combat training.
Peter Schilling
SPACE Persis Khambatta
Indian born model who famously shaved her head for a role in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), Persis Khambatta later played coldhearted terrorist Shakka, partner to a ruthless hi-jacker (Rutger Hauer), in Nighthawks (1981).
SPACE Kathleen Kinmont
Riding high on success of Re-Animator 2, in which she appeared as the 'bride' made from spare body parts, tall blonde Kathleen Kinmont played rogue CIA agent Alexa in CIA: Codename Alexa (1992), a rather dull-witted action thriller that at least predated Hollywood's Nikita remake, The Assassin.
She also appeared in the futuristic adventure, Roller Blade Warriors (1987), as a freedom fighter in a post-apocalypse wasteland.
Ian Shutter
Stephanie Kramer with Fred Dyer in Hunter Stephanie Kramer
She played detective Deedee McCall opposite former sportsman Fred Dyer in TV cop show Hunter (1984-85), created by Frank Lupo.
