Georgina Mair was baptized on 23 February 1833 at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 Her family was known by the tee-name of "Shanker".2 She married Alexander Mair "Shavie" at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 October 1854.3,2
