Edgar was born on 26 January 1920.1 He was the son of John Mair and Margaret Donaldson. He married Margaret Stuart McLaren.1 Edgar died on 9 November 2004 at Benidorm, Spain, at age 84.2,3 He was buried on 18 November 2004 at Wellshill Cemetery, Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.3
