Her family was known by the tee-name of "King". She married James Mair at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 25 December 1896.2,3 As of 25 December 1896, her married name was Margaret Ann Mair. Margaret died on 25 October 1948 at Woodcot, Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, Scotland, at age 83.4,3 She was buried after 25 October 1948 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.5
