Catherine Wood was baptized on 19 November 1841 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of George Wood and Margaret Mair. Her family was known by the tee-name of "King". She married Thomas Peterkin at Parish of Seafield, Banffshire, Scotland, on 3 April 1862.3,2 As of 3 April 1862, her married name was Catherine Peterkin. Catherine Wood died on 20 May 1919 at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 77.2
