Ann Wood was born on 11 May 1868 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of George Wood and Anne Mair. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Doo". She married George Harthill at Seatown Mission Hall, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 2 December 1892.2 As of 2 December 1892, her married name was Ann Harthill. Ann died on 7 June 1948 at 70 Church Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 80.2
