     Annie Mair was born on 11 April 1900 at Church Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Mair and Mary Findlay. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". She married George Wood at The Institute, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 March 1922.3 As of 14 March 1922, her married name was Annie Wood. Annie died on 24 November 1969 at age 69.4
