     William Wood was born circa 1830.1 He was the son of William Wood and Jane Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Wilkin". He was the informant for Jane Wood's death at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 December 1870.2 William Wood died on 3 May 1906 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1
