William George Anderson was born on 12 March 1894 at 47 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of John Anderson and Margaret Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Coy". William George Anderson was a fisherman. He married Anne Mary Mair at Council Chambers, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 3 January 1919.1 The Buckie and District Directory for 1925 shows that William George Anderson lived at 2 Seafield Terrace, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.3 He was the informant for, and present at, Margaret Wood's death at 2 Seafield Terrace, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 29 May 1949.4,2 William died in 1962. He was buried in 1962 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.5,6,7
