John Anderson was a fisherman. He married Margaret Wood at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 20 September 1889.3,2 He was the informant for George Anderson's birth at 47 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 22 March 1891.4 He was the informant for Alexander John Anderson's birth at 449 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 17 February 1904.5,2 The Buckie and District Directory for 1925 shows that John Anderson lived at 'Mizpah', 2 Seafield Terrace, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.6,7 The Buckie and District Directory for 1925 shows that John Anderson owned the steam drifter BF 846 Zodiac.8
From 1926, John Anderson "Coy" owned the steam drifter 'Zodiac' BF 846.9,7 John died on 15 July 1943 at 2 Seafield Terrace, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 75.2 He was buried after 15 July 1943 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.10,11,7
