Her family was known by the tee-name of "Brown".2 Mary Wilson married James Anderson, son of William Anderson and Catherine Mair, on 11 October 1878 at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.2 As of 11 October 1878, her married name was Mary Anderson. She was the informant for John Anderson's birth at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 29 May 1888.3 Mary died on 15 February 1896 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 39.4,2
