     Alexandrina Wood was born on 15 November 1880 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of George Wood and Jean Wood. Her family was known by the tee-name of "King". Alexandrina Wood was also known as Alexina Wood. She married James Mair Slater at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 December 1904.3,2 As of 16 December 1904, her married name was Alexandrina Slater. Alexandrina died on 27 January 1951 at age 70.4 She was buried after 27 January 1951 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.4
