Isabella Pirie "Buxer" was born circa 1903 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Mair Pirie and Isabella Cormack. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Buxer". She married Alexander Cowie at Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 December 1922.1 As of 14 December 1922, her married name was Isabella Cowie.
